I am energetic and passionate about what I teach. I understand that a virtual hands on approach is what teens need to learn. Teens/tweens will learn the foundation of Advertising during this 4 week course.

In this course, we will look into the world of Advertising to determine if tweens and teens are an important target.

We will look at and analyze different television commercials from both the past and present that are clearly targeting youth.  We will explain how branding and packaging help to sell more products to teens and children.

Students will learn how to make sound financial decisions when it comes to spending.  They will learn to see advertising for what it is and discuss whether or not the product is really worth all of the hype.

My teaching style is fun, energetic and I like my students to lead the discussions and share with each other. We will use online tools as well as examples and videos to help us learn.  Students do not need any prior knowledge of Advertising.  Students will be able to share with each other during each class as provide a lot of guided interaction time.
