To ‘think outside the box’ we must first identify the box and even recognize that we are in one. Challenging assumptions, identifying biases and logical fallacies, deconstructing thinking patterns, examining logic and reasoning, and asking thoughtful questions are the foundation of this class. Notebook Pen(cil) Markers Toothpicks or popsicle sticks (12) Small amount of clay or play dough Pringles (there are similarly shaped gluten-free chips for those who need it on Amazon or at Aldi) Index card (any size) Scissors Week 6's project will use a variety of materials that you likely have on hand. These materials will be unique to each student based on their design. You will also need a small box or container of some sort for mailing if you choose to do that part of the project, which is encouraged but not required.
