Students will find the following materials helpful during class. Please bring supplies and printouts to class. You will need:
•	Paper
•	Colored pens, pencils, or crayons in colors red/pink, blue, green, purple, yellow, and orange 
•	Printouts of vocabulary words with definitions and pronunciation key 
•	Printout of an outline of the brain to color code and label. 
•	Printouts are attached and will also be uploaded to the classroom.
•	A separate device from the Zoom classroom device (smartphone or tablet, additional computer or laptop) to play Kahoot.

**Standalone Class**

Your brain does everything for you. It helps you breathe, see, hear, dream, and even have feelings. In this class, students will learn about the six major regions of the brain and the parts of the body that each region controls. 

We will have a blast while exploring the structure and function of our brains. We will have open discussions, do fun exercises, and use our bodies to show our brains in action.  

At the end of the class, students will engage their brains by answering questions in an exciting game of Kahoot. 

Now, what does a rubber hand have to do with the brain? Hmmm…
