In this ongoing book club, students will independently read one book a week from the "A to Z Mysteries series" and then gather to discuss the book and complete fun activities about the book. 

This book club motivates students to read all week long! Students will independently read the assigned book title each week (schedule below) outside of class. During the first five minutes of class, we will spend some time saying hello and sharing fun things about our week. We will then begin discussing the weekly book through fun and interactive activities. Some activities may include multiple-choice questions, sequencing, characters' behaviors, problem and solution, and critical thinking questions that will put your child in the shoes of the characters. The book club will end by sharing the following week's book club title, some important vocabulary words, and a prediction about the book.  A printable and optional homework page will be provided based on the book.
