In this series, learners will learn about each planet in our solar system. For each session, we’ll cover fun and age-appropriate facts about one planet, such as its appearance, surface features, atmosphere, temperature, and unique characteristics. By the end of the course, learner will understand basic solar system concepts and be able to recognize and describe each planet.

Each class follows a consistent, engaging structure:

Introduction and Welcome (3 minutes): Greet learners and introduce the planet of the week.
Planet Exploration (10 minutes): Present the planet’s key features, using visuals to show its unique look and characteristics.
Interactive Activity (5 minutes): Learners will create a drawing of the planet, adding details we discussed (like Saturn’s rings or Mars’ red color).
Wrap-Up (2 minutes): Review what we learned and say our goodbyes.

I’ll use bright, engaging slides with simple visuals to capture each planet's characteristics. Teaching will be interactive, with questions sprinkled throughout to encourage curiosity (e.g., “What color do you think Mars is?”). Learners will participate in drawing activities each week, allowing them to creatively express what they learned.

My teaching style is warm, playful, and highly interactive. I encourage participation by asking questions, using engaging visuals, and inviting learners to share their thoughts. I aim to make the learning experience fun and positive, so young learners feel excited and comfortable as they explore space concepts.

Learner interaction is a key part of each class! Here’s how:

Question Prompts: I’ll ask questions throughout the session to encourage learner input and keep them engaged.
Drawing Activity: During each drawing session, I’ll interact with learners by commenting on their work and encouraging them to share if they’d like.
Discussion: The class includes light discussion moments, allowing learners to share what they think and ask questions about the planet of the week.

Mercury - The Speedy Planet
In our first class, we’ll zoom in on Mercury, the closest planet to the Sun! Young explorers will discover why Mercury is the fastest planet in our solar system, learn about its rocky surface and craters, and imagine what it might feel like to visit this tiny, speedy world. We’ll end by drawing our own version of Mercury, full of craters and rocky textures.
レッスン 2:
Week 2: Venus - The Hottest Planet
This week, we’ll dive into Venus, the hottest planet with thick, swirling clouds. Kids will learn why Venus is covered in clouds and what makes it so hot. Together, we’ll imagine flying through Venus’s misty atmosphere and draw a cloud-covered planet to take home.
レッスン 3:
Week 3: Earth - Our Home Planet
Now it’s time to explore our own planet, Earth! We’ll talk about what makes Earth so special, like its blue oceans, green land, and the life it supports. Young astronauts will see how Earth compares to other planets, then draw a colorful version of our amazing home.
レッスン 4:
