このクラスで学べること
In this storytime class, we will first make a snack inspired by the Disney movie Big Hero 6. We will make a cookie (or 6) with Baymax's face! Students will get to make their very own snacks and younger students may need the help of a parent or older sibling. The cookies and frosting should be bought from the store if there are any special diets the parents can choose appropriate alternatives for their student. We will have the opportunity to chat while we make our snacks and this part of the class is always my favorite. After we have made our cookies, Students will get a chance to enjoy them while I read the Golden Book Big Hero 6. I like to ask questions about the story such as: What do you think will happen next? What happened? Why did (character) do that? Come enjoy a yummy treat and enjoy story time with me!

Students will need cookies (they can bring whatever their favorite cookie is), vanilla frosting, plastic spreading knife, chocolate chips or brown M&Ms, and a black frosting writing tube.

My name is Kasi. I’m a mom of two boys ages 7 and 5 and I’m a teacher. I have been teaching for 10 years. I have taught ages 5 to 17 and I’m highly qualified to teach English and Math. I currently teach English as a Second Language to students in China as a VIPKID teacher and I absolutely love it! I love the connection I have with students over video chat.
