Looking for a Girl's Social Club? Well, look no further. In this ongoing fun class, your child will make friends, participate in open discussion, and do an activity together. Each week we will have a fun topic/activity. As the teacher, I will guide the class by asking initial questions to start the conversation. The class will be student-paced. There will be plenty of time fto buildrelationships and socialization skills. ----SCHEDULE/ACTIVITIES---- Week 8/26 - 8/30: Catch Up Dessert Party Week 9/2 - 9/6: No Class (Holiday) Week 9/9 - 9/13: Game Day Week 9/16 - 9/20: Fun with Nails ----PARTICIPATION---- This class is interactive. Participation will be encouraged but not required. Students will have an opportunity to participate in open discussion, answer questions, & ask questions. ----MY TEACHING STYLE---- I understand that each child learns differently. My teaching style is interactive, and I love incorporating story time, fun visuals, crafts, songs, games, and/or activities. My goal is to ensure that every student in my classroom has the ability to gain knowledge, whether that is scaffolding down to meet your child's needs or extending the concepts for more advanced learners. Each student in my class is equally important, and I strive to ensure that your child will learn in my classroom.

Hello,
I'm Teacher Ely! I am very excited for the opportunity to teach your child on Outschool. I hold a Master's degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Human Resources. I also earned my Esthetician license and love anything about skin, makeup, and spa. I started teaching on the Outschool platform since August of 2020 and have already had the privilege of teaching 480+ students. In addition, I have taught English as a secondary language to students between ages 3-13 for the last year. I also homeschooled my 2 children and have had the opportunity to teach in various co-op homeschool gatherings with children ages 0-10. This has allowed me to develop effective communication, with an emphasis on structure, expectations, objectives, teachable moments, and using three key components: visual, presentation, and hands-on approach. It is very important to bring a variety of components into the classroom because not every child learns the same way or at the same pace.
My goal is to ensure that every student in my classroom has the ability to gain knowledge, whether that is scaffolding down to meet your child's needs or extending the concepts for more advanced learners. Each student in my class is equally important, and I strive to ensure that your child will learn in my classroom. There is a balance to learning; it is all about keeping your child engaged in the lesson and eager to learn more.
