We will learn the five food groups, how they positively impact the body, serving sizes, healthy hydration and the energy formula. In addition to the content, students will have lots of opportunities for movement breaks. W H Y S E L F - P A C E D ? ✅ student and family has the freedom to take part in lessons on their own time-frame that works for their schedule ✅ student has the flexibility to move through lessons at their own pace, pausing or re-watching lessons if needed D E S C R I P T I O N 🌟 Join us for a fun and engaging self-paced course where students will learn all about beginning nutrition through our weekly lessons + custom digital resources for showcasing their learning. 🚨NOTE: All lessons are pre-recorded with no live sessions. ❓Has your child ever been interested in learning why we eat food? ❓Has your child ever been curious the role food has on the body? ❓Or maybe they have wondered how to stay hydrated? I have broken down this course into tiny, digestible bites for young learners so they feel confident in their new learning each week. Your student is not expected to communicate with me, but I would be so grateful if they did! All communication from your child will be met with communication back from me within a couple of school days, but no longer than one week. P L E A S E N O T E : 👟I recommend your child be dressed for physical activity when partaking in movement breaks. 💧Having a water bottle handy would also be beneficial 💪🏻No previous experience or learning required for this course I am so excited to get to know your student and help them learn about nutrition and the food groups! PARENT SUMMARY
Join me for a five-week, self-paced engaging and fun course for the beginner learner where we will learn all about our nutrition. We will learn the five food groups, food group super powers, serving sizes, healthy hydration and the energy formula. In addition to the content, students will have lots of opportunities for movement breaks.
🚨 NOTE: Students have the option to partake in brain break/exercise videos. Nothing is needed except space to move, a water bottle and a smile!
