In this class, younger students will have a chance to learn the basics of guitar. The class will cover basics of the guitar such as parts of the instrument and proper posture while playing, treble clef note reading on the first 3 strings of the guitar along with easier forms of guitar chords that will give students a great start! Students will learn how to play the notes on the first 3 strings of the guitar. They will learn modified and/or full forms of the chords C, G, and D. By the end of the course, students will have learned 3 songs, "Spanish Theme," "Ode to Joy," and "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star."
I have over 14 years experience teaching piano and guitar lessons to students ages 5 to adult. Additionally, I am certified in special education and have experience working with students with disabilities.

In order to get the most enriching experience from the class, students will be expected to practice 15-20 minutes a day for the duration of the class. Weekly assignments will be given, usually to practice the notes and chords for the song learned in class that day.授業以外に週あたり 1 - 2 時間の学習が期待されます
