- A base of vocabulary in food, restaurants, rooms, verbs
- A basic grasp of most of the Chinese question words
- A basic grasp of how to use question structures like puzzle pieces to create their own questions
- Be able to communicate with Chinese people about these topics in conversation
- How to sing two Chinese songs
- A basic understanding of some of the biggest differences between Chinese culture and their own

I have a Masters Degree in Education. I lived in China for 4 years and my wife is Chinese. I have an HSK4 level of Chinese and have been tutoring/teaching Chinese since 2014.

Students will be required to practice using flashcards or Anki(digital flashcards) as well as watch short videos while practicing their phrases and words.

Students will have many 1on1 conversations with me throughout the the course and then at the end of Unit 2 and 3 we will have a 1on1 assessment conversation.
