This class is perfect for young dancers who are ready to start their journey into the world of tap and Broadway style dance. We will start at the beginning with how our tap shoes make sounds and put together those sounds to master super cool tap moves. We will learn basic tap technique, terminology, and a little bit of choreography each week. This class is on-going, so we will build-on a piece of choreography each week.. but don't fret! Please assure your dancer has a safe place to practice their tapping. Tap shoes can damage floors, so keep this in mind when choosing a location. Workout attire is acceptable, as long as ankles are visible. Pulling hair out of face and off neck is always encouraged. Don't forget to hydrate when participating in high energy activities!
