📆 In each lesson, students learn and practice the fundamentals of Spanish, including greetings, feelings, numbers, days of the week, months of the year, seasons, weather expressions, and thematic units to reinforce the curriculum. 

Our class routine includes:

➡️ Calendar Time (Numbers, Days of the Week, Months of the Year & Seasons)
➡️ Weather Expressions
➡️ Weekly Theme in Spanish
➡️ Conversational Practice (oral activities, written activities or games)
➡️ Farewell Song

I have a B.A. in Spanish Language & Literature, an M.A. in TESOL, and a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership. I am a certified K-12 Spanish & ESOL teacher. I have taught in public and private schools for 18 years and was a middle school and high school assistant principal and principal for 5 years and am the owner of a private Spanish preschool.

I believe that learning Spanish at a young age has numerous benefits. By exposing children to a new language, they develop valuable communication skills, enhance their cognitive abilities, and gain a greater understanding of diverse cultures. For parents, it provides a unique opportunity for their child to stand out in a competitive world and opens up doors for future educational and career opportunities. My goal is to create a fun and interactive learning experience that not only teaches Spanish but also helps children develop a lifelong love for learning and discovery.
