- Students will be able to speak new vocabulary words accurately and confidently. Students will be able to introduce themselves and ask basic questions in Hindi. Students will be able to accurately identify words in Hindi based on pictures.
I lived and worked as a teacher in New Delhi, India from 2017-2020. During that time I learned Hindi by language immersion as well as formal grammar and Hindi courses at a language school. After marrying my husband in 2019 (he was born and raised in New Delhi), I thankfully have a built-in Hindi teacher who continues to hone and correct my Hindi every day :). I have been teaching Hindi since 2020 when the pandemic hit, and have over 10 years of classroom experience with students 3-18 years old! I can also read and write Devanagari script.

No previous Hindi experience is required! This class will cover the basics-but if you have any experience, you will also be challenged!
Printouts which will be available on our class page before the start of each class. Basic supplies such a colored pencils/crayons/scissors/glue sticks will be needed for our class time together!
