Students will be able to use the greetings and courtesy expressions in Chinese to navigate in daily life.
Students will be able to learn about the origin of Chinese characters, the basic rules of Chinese character writing, and the phonetic system known as pinyin.

I have been a K-12 language teacher in K-12 schools for over 10 years before I took the full-time administrator position as the school director. I have taught beginner-level class through advanced language classes including AP Chinese. Teaching and seeing students become confident Chinese speakers is one of my favorite experiences as an educator.

Students will practice the vocabulary, phrases, sentence structures learned in class using other online tools provided by the teacher. One common assignment is to teach someone else what you have learned. The teacher will provide specific requirements for each assignment.
