このクラスで学べること
In this beginner American Sign Language (ASL) class, we will learn the signs for numbers, days of the week, time of day, time, and more as time permits. No prior knowledge is necessary for this class; just come ready to learn and have fun! I will show signs up close to the camera and do my best to help every child as much as I can. I strive to teach and encourage all of my students, and hope that they gain a passion for learning and signing in the process. I cannot wait to begin class and explore a new language together!

教師の専門知識と資格
I love learning American Sign Language and began learning the alphabet and a few words when I was a child. I took ASL courses from deaf and hard of hearing individuals when I lived in New Orleans and have taken a few classes since I moved back to Arkansas. I have also worked with deaf and hard of hearing consumers in Music Therapy sessions, and taught sign language along with music in other Music Therapy sessions. Now, I want to take my passion for ASL and teach even more people so that they may have the opportunity to communicate with those in the deaf community.
