My heart is teaching. I have done it for many years. I love teaching science and social studies, especially to our little learners, however I have classes for many other groups. 

I am a certified Special Education and Elementary Education teacher with over 10 years experience. I am currently working on my Master’s degree. I have also homeschooled, and taught online in other formats for over a year. I really enjoy teaching and exploring with my students and to see their excitement.

My teaching philosophy comes from my experience as a public school teacher, homeschool parent, and former student. I try to do a mix of activities for my students because everyone’s learning style is different. If your child is a hands on learner, visual learner, or any other type, I try my best to incorporate things for all of them. I believe all students should love learning, and learning should be more than just talking, it should be fun. Many ways I make it fun, is songs, dances, games, and conversations. When you let the child share things they know, you learn so much more. Live, Love, Learn!

When not teaching Online or homeschooling 2 out of my 3 daughters. I enjoy camping, hiking, and fishing with my husband, girls, and our spunky little dog.
