In class learners will bring a Barbie doll for show and tell. If you do not have a Barbie, then please feel free to bring any doll to class. In class, each child will have many opportunities to discuss the dolls and share thoughts and ask questions. We will discuss different ways we can describe our dolls. We will also discuss similarities and differences and how these make our dolls special and us too. Our Barbie dolls will guide conversation as we discuss things we like to wear, do, and our favorite colors and more. This is a fun class designed to practice social skills, taking turns, and listening skills as we share our love for Barbies. We can talk and play and have so much fun. If you have a great time, feel free to book again.

Hello everyone! I LOVE teaching! In fact, ever since I was a little girl, I have always wanted to be a teacher. In 2012, I graduated from The University of North Carolina at Pembroke with a degree in elementary education. I have been a kindergarten teacher in the public school system for 9 years. I have also had the opportunity to work for Vipkid where I taught English online to Chinese children (ages 4-12). I am the mother of a 7 year old boy and a 4 year old girl. We love to spend time outside at the park and occasional trips to the beach. English Language Arts is my favorite subject. I love to teach phonics skills that are a key component to reading. As an elementary educator, I can help children learn social fundamental skills to build relationships and be prepared for classroom success. I am firm believer that learning should be fun and engaging. I love to have a good time and hope to see your child in my classroom!レビュー
