このクラスで学べること
In this one-time class inspired by the Movie Avengers, students will look for clues in the text or picture to try to solve each of the locks. This a competitive and fun activity that consists of 5 locks that students will solve. I have created this activity in PowerPoint, and the students will navigate back and forth through the different slides (or "rooms"), working to complete all the challenges before time runs out. The class lasts 45 minutes, and after a short introduction students will have approximately 30 minutes to try to solve all the puzzles and escape. These puzzles are based on heat transfer science content and employ problem-solving strategies, and test their creativity and observational skills. I can provide some assistance or hints for any students that need them, and I can also adjust the difficulty as necessary to make sure the activities remain fun for everyone. Students also do *not* need to be experts in science class to solve the puzzle.

I graduated from FIU with my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. I am a middle school science teacher at Somerset Academy. I teach comprehensive science 2 and physical science honors. I love teaching and have the best students. I have also tutored students in different grade levels and subjects including some of the tough subjects such as the maths and the sciences . I also teach and tutor for the SAT test prep to high school students preparing for their college admission exam. During class we are solving problems and students are provided with techniques and ways of tackling the test and then multiple mock exams are provided to see where they need improvement in.
