We will use Zoom to meet live each week by live demonstrations and live interactions. I will model and guide each student with proper hand shapes for each sign taught while working on facial expressions and speaking while signing. Students will be provided with a printable of each sign to practice at home. Once vocabulary words are mastered, I will introduce sentences that are used in everyday language to encourage communication between the student and the deaf or hard of hearing society. Finally, I encourage questions throughout the lesson but we will also end each class with questions and clarifications. Here is a weekly breakdown of the 4 week course:
