This class integrates American Sign Language with science. Learn about the animals that lived at the time of dinosaurs. Learn how baby dinosaurs grow as we sign "Baby Dinosaurs" by Lucille Recht Penner. Signing a book is a fantastic way to learn tons of ASL vocabulary while increasing student retention of knowledge since it is kinesthetic learning. Students need no prior experience or knowledge. I have taught Little Signers ASL to preschool and elementary students over the past 10 years. I have a Masters in Education with a certification in K-6th, biology, and earth science. I have a Bachelors of Science in Biology with an Environmental Studies minor. I am a former public school teacher of 5 yrs and homeschool teacher of 10 yrs. I completed ASL I, II, III, & V in college and interpret for a Deaf family in church. I am also a 200 hr certified Yoga Teacher with additional certifications in Kids Yoga, Mommy Me Yoga, and Prenatal Yoga. In addition to teaching on Outschool, I teach a weekly live online Little Signers class.
