このクラスで学べること
Each week we will learn about a new work of art and the artist who created it. Where its found and its impact on history. Our class will start with describing the art. What do you see? Pretend I can't see it? Can you paint me a word picture? How does it make you feel? Students will learn about the work and its creator. Fun facts and why it's important. We will consider what we see. When the work was made. The events that may have made it more or less popular. We'll learn where to find this painting now and where it sits on the timeline of art history. No two weeks will be the same. We will cover well-known and lesser-known artists and works of art. We will explore different cultures, countries, and mediums. Please review the list of selected works so you are aware of what your student will learn about. If you would like to schedule a special time or request a specific work of art please message me.
