This is a beginner level step by step instructional class on how to paint a specific painting each week, using watercolor paint! Student artists will create a new project every week. The topics we will paint are landscapes, nature, still life, animals, birds, sea life and so much more! ~Students will learn how to use watercolor paints, when to clean paint brushes, learn various techniques, basic art vocabulary as it relates to color and paint, how to paint on watercolor paper, follow step by step instructions, use their imaginations and creativity, and have fun! ~This class is for budding artists who know that art isn't about making an exact replica of the teacher's art piece. ~Due to the variety of skill sets in the class, I try to pace the class to meet all students' needs, but this isn't always possible.
I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts and an Art Teaching Credential. I have a Masters in Education and over twenty years experience teaching Art.
