In this class, students will create their own mixed media canvas art using a variety techniques including layering, mixing, drawing and painting. Students will follow along with the teachers as they create their own painting. On day two students should have an image they want to create on their canvas. Students are encouraged to engage and ask questions. After class students are encouraged to share their art via the classroom board. Recordings are made available after every class to aid in learning and for students to refer back to for refreshing of terms and techniques. Day 1: Layered Background- Covering the Canvas with Newspaper Day 2: Foreground- Creating the Personalized Artwork
