This will be an interactive art class that encourages children to experiment with different ways of drawing through games and fun art challenges. When I teach summer camps, I always incorporate a chance for drawing games and art challenges, and this is often the most-loved moment in the day for some children. I aim to create a supportive and fun learning environment for kids to feel comfortable to create.
At least 10 pieces of paper, black marker or black crayon, pencil with an eraser, crayons or markers, some coins, and a few Lego pieces or toy pieces that you can trace on paper. Optional: dice, a stapler and scissors. We won't always use all of these materials, but have them on hand in case we do.
