Beginner - Intermediate レベル向け
Through the guided drawing process, students will learn how to use simple lines, shapes, and shading techniques to create 5 different sharks. My teaching style involves breaking the process down into smaller, easy-to-follow steps. I pace the class according to the needs of the students; if needed, I give fast finishers a break, allowing students who need more time to complete their work, the time to do so, and even then, finishing before class ends is NOT the objective. The examples in the picture are only suggestive; students may also request a particular favorite if time allows. My classes are intended to be fun, informative, and a safe place to take artistic risks and make mistakes--that is experimentation, which artists do all the time! At the end of class, students will be invited to share their creations no matter what their progress is. More detailed information regarding this class can be found in the syllabus. Completion of the weeks' individual drawings and research papers will be celebrated at the end of class! **PLEASE NOTE** Because the final class session is solely student reports on their research, it may run very short if fewer than 5 students are enrolled. This does not in any way alter the content of the class, simply the amount of time the final class may actually run.

Introduction to Sharks; Great White Shark

I love to draw animals, and I have developed ways to break down the steps to teach kids how to draw animals. I also happen to be married to a "Sharkcyclopedia!"
