このクラスで学べること
In this fun class we will briefly look at the art of Paul Klee and learn that he liked to make simple child-like drawings and he liked to paint nature. Paul Klee liked to use water colors and chalks. He often painted on burlap instead of canvas and he could paint with both hands. For the first 15 minutes of class, we will look at several of his works of art and discuss the colors, shapes and the materials he used to paint or draw on. For the last half of class we will create our own work of art using crayons, pencils, water colors or chalk. We will see if we can draw or paint with our non-dominate hand just like Paul Klee. At the end of class , students can share their work if they desire. Please note that this is not a technique class but rather a time to learn about an artist and enjoy creating art inspired by Paul Klee.
