In this course, students will be given guided practice problems to solve involving finding the area of triangles, parallelograms, rectangles, squares and trapezoids. This should not be the student's first exposure to this mathematical operation. Students will be given immediate feedback, guided error correction, and reteaching as needed during the class. Strategies to find answers will be demonstrated as needed. Students should have a basic understanding of adding, multiplying, and dividing before attending this class. Please schedule your sessions carefully, as missed sessions will not be rescheduled or refunded.
