Unit 4 of AP World History covers c. 1450-1750 1. Technological Innovations 2. Exploration: Causes & Events 3. Columbian Exchange 4. Maritime Empires Established 5. Maritime Empires Maintained & Developed 6. Internal & External Challenges to State Power 7. Changing Social Hierarchies 8. Continuity & Change Students who attend this class will be provided with a content review, practice multiple-choice questions, and a significant amount of resources to read, use, or watch to continue to fill in the missing pieces of Unit 2 (based on the College Board curriculum for AP World History.) The first half of the class is presentation format (via shared PowerPoint) and students are encouraged to ask questions. The second half of the class will use Kahoot to allow students to participate in the multiple-choice review. (Kahoot does require access through a browser, however, students only need to enter their first names.) At the end of class, I will share a document that contains a variety of Unit 2 review materials. Please note, that there is a minimum enrollment of 3 learners required to hold this class. I have been teaching AP World History since 2011. In addition, for 2 years, I have offered AP DBQ prep classes on Outschool (rated 5 stars) and there are also a handful of learners who I tutor on Outschool specifically in the area of AP World History (rated 5 stars.)
