In this 6 week flex class, students will learn how to create simple but adorable animal drawings using basic shapes that will be sure to amaze their family and friends. The students will be shown a new animal to draw each week/lesson via a step-by-step video instruction posted by the teacher on Sutori (using the teacher code provided after the student enrolls in the course) where they will also find printable drawing instructions and fun facts about the animal of the week. Students will learn and review the basic geometric shapes while being introduced to the simplest forms of art composition. Students will gain a new perspective on their world, using shapes as the theoretical building blocks for interpreting objects and images around them that they can then draw and/or reproduce using various creative mediums at home.
