In this on-going class, students are encouraged to drop in however many weeks they desire to learn techniques to draw simple animal doodles. I aim to provide a fun, exciting, and cooperative learning experience by incorporating skills such as direction following and sharing. 

This class is designed to build a foundation of art skills that students can apply to any project for years to come, and to boost confidence in their abilities. To participate, your child will only need paper and something to draw and color with (crayons, markers, pencils, pens, whatever you prefer). No prior knowledge or experience is needed, this is a class for young learners just beginning their art journey.

I will utilize a drawing tablet to use a large portion of the video screen to show how I draw and offer a step-by-step guide. Individual classes will focus on a small number of animals in a central theme (barnyard, safari, ocean, etc), and students can jump in whatever week they want!

This class is a lot of fun and will give students lots of tools for their burgeoning artist toolbox!

Week of 4/22 - Farm Friends: Cow, Pig, Sheep
Week of 4/29 - Jungle Friends: Monkey, Lizard, Toucan
Week of 5/6 -   Sea Friends: Shark, Whale, Turtle
Week of 5/13 - Neighborhood Friends: Squirrel, Dog, Cat

Please note - Four sections are offered for each class during the week (Mondays and Wednesdays), one for the morning and one for after school. Each section will involve the same lesson until the start of the next week.
