Please note: a Nintendo Switch/Switch Lite and Nintendo Switch online subscription with internet access is required to participate in this class. Please make sure the learner has access to both before signing up for this class! 


This class will teach all about the fish we can catch on Animal Crossing! We will identify each fish while learning all about them. We will focus on the fish we can find during seasonal the appearance, how common they are, and what environment they live in.  We will participate in a fishing tournament to win fun prizes and sell our valuable fish! Each student will receive a gold fishing rod and has the chance to win 1 MILLION BELLS by catching the most fish! 

The format of each class is lecture, discussion, and participation. The teacher will introduce each individual fish and ask questions to gauge the student's understanding. We will choose the fish of the month to focus on and use our new knowledge to describe the appearance, environment, and other interesting facts about the fish. The teacher will then hold a fishing tournament on the island to catch fish to trade for bells and prizes. I will provide a checklist to track each of the fish we catch.  

We will interact with each other using slides and interactive video game play. 

Once you arrive at the island, please wait in the front for your fellow learners to land. Talking on your Nook phone, opening your pockets, trying to shop or talking to villagers will result in interference during flyover and can possibly crash the island. This will take up game play time as we will have to start all over again with a new Dodo code.

Please be patient as it takes time for everyone to join the island. If we have connection issues, I will add an extra 10 minutes of game play. If you cannot stay the extra time, I will issue a 25% refund.

Parents and learners: it is important that you check the battery life of your switch and your connection speeds to ensure smooth game play. If you have a low connection and it disconnects repeatedly as you try to fly over,  I will try to assist as much as I can, but if it becomes disruptive to the other learners, you will have to exit the island and I will issue a 50% refund. 


I do not offer refunds or transfers to learners who are more than 15 minutes late or those who do not attend class, unless I am given prior notice or it is an emergency.
