このクラスで学べること
In this one time class students will listen to a story about emotions in which each emotion is represented by a monster of a different color. We will then assign each emotion to a specific color for example red : angry , yellow : happy , green : surprised etc.. After we assign each emotion a color the children will then use their crayons, markers or whatever they choose to color as they discuss what makes them feel angry, happy, sad and so on. This class is to help children identify and discuss their emotions while socializing with their peers. *This class relies on student participation. If the minimum number of students is not met 24 hours before class begins I will have to cancel class.

Hi my name is Angie. I have been working with children practically my whole life. I started working in a Headstart as a volunteer and quickly made my way up to Head Teacher. Then when I had my child I decided that I was going to be an in-home daycare provider. That was over 25 years ago and I’m still doing it to this day. Working with children is practically in my blood. There is always a child in my home and I’m always teaching them, hanging out with them, and having a great time.
In my classroom I hope to engage the children and encourage them to interact with me and each other. This will help foster their social skills and their language skills. My goal is to help them feel good about themselves, learn new things, and have fun.
