A life-long history buff, I am well versed in and obsessed with ancient history. I have studied classics and the history of the mediterranean world at the University of Texas and have taught similar classes in the same field to hundreds of students so far.

While this is a history class, it is a history of warfare -- and a primitive kind at that. We will maintain an academic perspective, but we will discuss how and why people kill one another. We'll keep it PG.
