Welcome to our Among Us Friends Club! This is a safe space where Among Us fans can meet weekly to play and discuss one of their favorite games with other learners. Each week, we will play as many rounds of Among Us as we can before time runs out. To add in some extra excitement, at the end of class each week, we will play Hide and Seek as our last round with limited impostor vision on the ship! (If you do not know the rules, that's okay! You will find out in class!) ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ GAME PLAY ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ You are one of the crewmates on a ship that has broken down and it is your job to fix the ship by running around completing your assigned tasks... but one of you isn't a crewmate. One of you is an impostor. As the impostor it is your job to sabotage the crew and stop them from repairing the ship. If you are the impostor, you must eliminate all of your crewmates without being caught and voted off the ship to win the game. Your objective is to eliminate as many crewmates as you can as quickly as you can before they catch you or finish all of their tasks and repair the ship. If you are one of the crewmates, it is your job to repair the ship and find the impostor. You will need to use your detective skills to decipher who you think the impostor really is! But watch out and remember that when you are in a meeting with your fellow crewmates, the impostor will be there with you and is most likely trying to deceive you by telling you that they are also one of your crewmates. During the game you will have a chance to call meetings and have open discussions with the other players to determine who you think the impostor really is. If you can solve this mystery and vote them off the ship, then you and your crewmates will win the game. However, if the impostor eliminates you and all of your fellow crewmates, then the impostor wins the game. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ CLASS RULES ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ - At the beginning of each game, players will randomly be assigned a role as a crewmate or the impostor. - During the game, each player shall remain muted to maintain anonymity. - When a meeting is called, players can unmute themselves and have a timed discussion about who they think the impostor is. - During each meeting, players will also have the opportunity to vote and eject who they think the impostor is off of the ship. - Crewmates who are eliminated will stay on mute throughout the rest of the game (even during meetings) so they do not give away who the impostor is to the rest of the players who are still remaining. - Crewmates who have been eliminated will become ghosts who can still fly around completing tasks to help the crewmates on the ship. - If the crewmates vote the impostor off the ship or complete all of their tasks to repair the ship, they win the game. - If the impostor eliminates all the crewmates without being caught, the impostor wins the game.

Hey there! I'm Sheila, and I'm super excited to be here with you on this awesome learning adventure!
I've been teaching professionally since 2012. I spent 8 years teaching in public schools, working with students from Kindergarten to 8th grade. Then, in 2018, I transitioned to online teaching, connecting with hundreds of learners just like you from all over the globe. On Outschool alone, I have taught almost 500 learners!
Along with teaching, I'm also very passionate about exploring my creative side. I absolutely love working with digital art, designing my own mugs to sell on Etsy, and freelancing as a graphic designer. Currently, I am experienced with using Procreate, Procreate Dreams, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Gimp, Davinci Resolve, PowerPoint, and Canva.
When I'm not teaching or creating, you can find me snuggled up with my cat, Zuko, sipping on my favorite Starbucks latte, or dreaming up new Procreate tutorials. I can't wait to inspire your creativity and share everything I know with you in our classes together! ✨

First let me tell you how fun and engaging this teacher is! She’s somehow tied learning activities in with Animal crossing and the kids don’t even realize that they are learning while having fun! My child absolutely loved this class and this amazing teacher, looking forward to the class every single day! I can’t recommend this class and this teacher enough!
