This class is a great one-on-one opportunity to learn how to crochet amigurumi with Ms. Chan. The class will be a private one-on-one class and will go at the speed of the individual learner. We will go over what you may already know and create a personal schedule. If this is your absolute first time with a skein of yarn and a crochet hook, then we will set up a schedule based on how you pick up the skill. Each week we will review what we have learned from the previous week and go over any difficulties you may have come across. Crocheting is a skill that takes much practice and patience. This skill is very rewarding to learn and being able to create something with just a bit of yarn is so much fun.

Crochet/Amigurumi Vocabulary
Different stitches
Magic circle/ring
Chains

Example of weekly schedule based on learner's experience: (please message the teacher about the learner's experience with crochet)
Week 1: Vocabulary, Hook holding position. How to hold string for the correct tension.
Week 2: How to make a slip knot/How to make a chain.
Week 3: How to make a Magic Circle/Ring (two different techniques)
Week 4: How to read a pattern.
Week 5: How to start a project. 

Occasionally, we will refer to references on YouTube if it helps to assist during the lessons.
