アメリカ手話（ASL）の動物 - 動物学と言語！

This class will teach students American Sign Language from a native speaker who teaches Zoology:
Animal, Lion, Bear, Tiger, Fish, elephant, Cat, dog, bug, turtle, Sea turtle, cow, horse, pig, frog, Fox owl, deer, raccoon, skunk, squirrel, wolf,  snake, bird, duck.

We will show pictures of each animal, discuss the sign and how it was developed or how it represents the animal as well as learn a cool fact about each animal, like "Did you know some people keep skunks as pets?!  I used to have one!"

If time permits and students are able, we will practice the signs and maybe learn more including:
Hippo, Crocodile , Shark, rhinoceros, Whale, Dolphin, Eagle, Octopus, Sheep, Goat, Butterfly, Turkey, Spider,  Rabbit, Rat, mouse, giraffe, monkey, gorilla, worm, zebra, seal, penguin, squirrel or others!

If students would like cool facts on other animals not listed, (like axolotls, which have cool facts but no sign in ASL, but a really adorable sign in LSM (Mexican Sign Language)) feel free to contact me before class and I'll make sure to have a cool fact for you.
