This class will help students to learn ASL animal vocabulary in a fun and multisensory way! This class will use fun, interactive games to reinforce concepts and test student knowledge.  There is no prior ASL knowledge needed to take this class, as this is a one-time class made especially for beginners. 
 
Here is a breakdown of what to expect during this class:
 
 - Greetings 
 - Introduction to target animal vocabulary.
 - Reinforce the ASL animal vocabulary with a fun song.
 - Practice ASL animal vocabulary through interactive games such as “What’s That Sign?”, "Simon Says", "Memory Chain"
 - Closing/Good-bye.
 
Students will also have the chance to share what their favourite sign was and where they will use what they have learned in class in their broader community.  I will also provide a printable resource with a list of Deaf-lead websites & organizations where you can further your child's knowledge of ASL and Deaf Culture as a whole.
