In this one-time class we will learn fun facts about elephants. We will start class with an ice breaker question Would you rather? This is a fun game to help children relax and get ready to learn. We will start class with an elephant bingo game, and I will share fun facts about elephants. We will create an elephant puppet and paint an elephant made from paper plate. My class is structure, so everyone gets a turn to speak and share. My teaching style is simple every child is welcomed in my class. Children will have an opportunity to share their finish products and take turns playing bingo. If time allows, I will finish class with a short story, "I Wish I Was an Elephant." No prior knowledge is necessary, join me in a lesson about elephants and make new friends!

Hello, my name is Anna Contreras, I am a preschool teacher with twenty-five years’ experience. I have experience working with older children six to ten years old as a teacher assistant. I have two degrees, a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies and an Associate Degree in Education.
My educational belief is every child has a right to a safe learning environment. As a teacher it is my responsibility to be a positive influence on children's love of learning and to foster their self-esteem. I love working with children, I am animated, silly, and fun which keeps children engaged and interested. In my experience children learn through laughter and silliness.
Teaching tools I use are puppets, music, games, dance, musical instruments, I also use Manycam to display pictures on screen to engage children learning process. Classes I hope to teach on Outschool include early literacy, math and science, arts and crafts, nursery rhymes, music, and dance.
On a personal note, I enjoy spending time with my family, my husband and I have two adult sons, a daughter-in-law and four grandchildren. I love spending time with my two dogs, Marley, and Bella. I enjoy TikTok and learning new dances with my granddaughters.レビュー
