This 4 week course is meant to encourage, inspire and teach kids all about different species that live in the Rainforest. We will be specifically talking about the jaguar, ocelot, different types of frogs, flamingo and toucan along with some plant species. 

 ***A printable workbook with gorgeous watercolor images will be sent prior to class starting. We will work through the activities and pages in the workbook together. This class is HIGHLY interactive and we will do a lot of talking together. We use playdough and/or modeling clay to make different things in the forest and to get a hands on learning experience. We will also use our bodies to demonstrate how the different animals act! ***

Topics covered:
-What is a Rainforest? 
-Identifying a Rainforest 
-The layers of a Rainforest
-Animals of the Rainforest (jaguar, ocelot, frog species, flamingo, toucan) and in depth discussions on each animal. We will talk about where they sleep, what they eat, their behaviors, etc.
-We will place each animal in the correct layer of the rainforest based on what we learn!
