It's time to learn about wolves! Wolves are fascinating animals found in Alaska and beyond. We will talk about what wolves look like and how they behave and live. Pictures and bullet points will help students remember new facts about wolves, then we will put our knowledge to the test with actual artifacts. I will show students real wolf furs and skulls, encouraging students to a deeper level of learning by using their skills of observation to ask questions and learn more about this interesting animal. By examining actual furs and skulls, students will use what they know and have learned to discuss the features we notice. Through examining these physical features, students will understand what gives wolves the needed adaptations to be successful hunters and live in cold climates.
学習到達目標

教師の専門知識と資格
Hello! I'm Amy Davis and I'm passionate about teaching and helping kids learn. I am an 8th generation teacher and have taught kindergarten, 2nd, and 3rd grade in public school, right here in the hometown where I was born and raised. I have watched, helped, volunteered, and taught professionally my whole life. I believe that learning can and should be a part of real, everyday life. Looking for the opportunities to teach in everyday activities is so much fun—they’re everywhere! I love creativity and coming up with fun and engaging ways to learn. Now that I'm a mother, I'm having great fun living this out on a daily basis. I'm amazed at how much my daughters already know with just a little intentionality. I especially enjoy teaching reading and art, but every subject can be a thrilling experience with a little creativity!
