幼稚園児のすべて！（秋 FLEX）パート 1

This is a perfect opportunity for those who would like to assist your child in learning on your own time. Maybe you aren't quite ready to send them to preschool yet, but want them to learn at home. Maybe you would like for them to have extra practice after school. Maybe their preschool is currently closed down or you aren't comfortable sending them back just yet. Or maybe your child is very shy and isn't comfortable in the live setting!
 
Each pre-recorded lesson will include a power point with visual aides. This FLEX class is designed to mimic the live version of this course, but can be done on your own time. I will post 2-3 videos each week on Monday mornings. You can view them all in one day or space them out based on your preference. Students will interact with each other through discussion questions via the classroom tab or by posting pictures/videos of their work. Students can give a written or video response with the help of an adult. Students will be encouraged to respond to at least one other students' posts. Other optional activities will be included.

 Discussion questions may include: 
- Were you able to find your name on the screen? What about the letters in your name on the keyboard?
- What is the weather like where you live today?
- What new letter and sound did you learn today? Were you able to come up with words that begin with that letter? Name them here!
- What new number did you learn today? Can you count that high?
- What is one new thing you learned in our themed unit?
- Do you have any questions?


Learning focus for the Fall semester:
Name identification: 
- Identifying your name on the screen
- Finding each letter of your name on the keyboard
- Tracing your name

Calendar: 
- Learn the Days of the Week and Months of the Year songs
- identify the current season
- Discuss the weather where you live 
- Identify any holidays in the current month

Phonics:
- Learn a new letter/s and sound each week ( some weeks we will double up)
- Name three words that begin with the letter of the week
- identify 2 words on the screen that begin with the letter of the week

Math:
- Identify numbers 1-20
- Count to 20
- Begin the explore Odd and Even numbers

Themed Unit:
- Learn new vocabulary
- Learn about special times of the year
- Explore Social Studies
- Listen to Readings

Greetings/ Goodbyes:
- Learn how to politely greet your friends with words and handshakes
