They will learn note names and also, learn where the notes are placed on the bass clef.In this class, the student will learn how to draw both the Treble Clef, which is foundational for many instruments. The class will be structured by learning the clef first and then beginning to learn about the notes on the spaces and on the lines. The child will be drawing the music staff...

I have taught children preschool through high school for over 25 years. I have a Bachelor's in Music Education with an emphasis in voice, and have played piano since I was 9 years old. I enjoyed accompanying many of my fellow Music majors for their juries (finals) in college. Knowing the basics gives children the confidence to pursue their favorite instrument and that's an amazing gift. I am patient and encouraging and love to engage with my students in a very positive way. I look forward to teaching your child.
