This ongoing class will be all about dogs! Each week we will discuss the origin of the specific dog breed, dog size, what the dog was initially bred for, how each breed got its name, life expectancy, temperament, and so much more! Students will get to share any information about the dog breed they may know. If the student has the dog breed we will discuss that week, they are encouraged to bring the dog to class to show and tell us all about their pet. Students are not required to keep a dog...
-Students will learn statistics about different dog breeds for their information and to help them make informed decisions about the type of dog they would want in the future. -Students will learn basic note-taking skills while keeping a resource journal of dog breeds. (optional to complete) -Students will be able to speak about what they have learned about the dog breed of the week and share any other knowledge they may have of it.
