The animal kingdom has many fascinating animals with the some of the most absolutely disgusting habits and behaviors. But they are not trying to gross us out. They are just trying to survive. From sleeping in a cocoon made from their own mucus to covering themselves in poop, some animals rely on disgusting habits and behaviors to communicate, defend themselves and even consume their food. So, if you have a strong stomach and love to learn interesting facts about animals, then this class is for you. After learning about some of these animals and their disgusting ways, you may never look at them the same way again.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and 10 years of experience working with preschool- 5th grade students in an elementary school environment. I also have over 3 years of experience working with children aged 3-16 years old as an online ESL teacher.
While I have experience teaching all subjects, my passion is animal science. I have a lifetime of experience raising, rescuing and advocating for animals. I am so excited to share knowledge and appreciation for all animals with my students.
