Alebrijes are very popular in Mexico. In this fantastic and interactive class children will explore the magical world of Alebrijes. The children will learn vocabulary and phrases in Spanish related to the Alebrijes. We will talk about their history, the materials and process to create them, and the life of the creator of Alebrijes. Did you know that Alebrijes are present in a popular Disney movie? We will play games and color our own Alebrije! During my classes I try to incorporate different learning styles for my students and to create a safe and friendly environment. Children can interact in different ways while we play charades, kahoot!, practice vocabulary Spanish words and sentences and participate in our discussion forum.

I am maestra Liliana or teacher Liliana. I've been a Bilingual Spanish Teacher for 5 years. I am a native Spanish speaker and I myself have gone through the process of learning a second language.
My belief is that learning a new language should be a skill children can enjoy, and I work hard on making my lessons fun and interactive. My goal is that children had learned the lesson and leave the class with a smile. Some of my favorites things to do are travelling to learn about other cultures, reading and dancing Zumba!
