In Algebra 1 tutoring we will go over foundational concepts necessary to thrive in Algebra and beyond. With a strong foundation comes confidence. We will cover Equations, Exponents, Polynomials, Linear Equations and Inequalities, and Systems of Equations and Inequalities. Students should have completed PreAlgebra before coming to Algebra 1. In this course, I will teach live, incorporate fun video clips, play online games and have students do interactive whiteboard work. Learning while having fun is important to students....and to me! Topics/concepts will be dictated weekly based on student need. For example, if we need to spend additional time on equations, we will do so. The goal is mastery.
