STUDENTS AND PARENTS CAN SIGN UP AT ANY TIME FOR ALGEBRA 1 MATH. In Algebra 1 with Teacher Bob, students will learn key algebra concepts, including solving linear equations, polynomials, graphing functions, factoring, exponents, and systems of equations, all aligned with Common Core standards. This course provides a strong foundation in algebra, preparing students for more advanced math. Each class is structured with clear explanations and guided practice. I use the whiteboard to walk students through each concept, providing step-by-step examples. After instruction, students will work independently on questions, allowing them time to apply what they've learned. We then go over the questions together to ensure understanding, and some problems may be assigned for extra homework or reinforcement throughout the week. My teaching style emphasizes helping students understand the "why" behind each concept. Students are encouraged to ask questions and use the chat feature for clarification or assistance during the lesson. This structure helps students build confidence and develop their problem-solving skills independently. By the end of the course, students will have mastered key algebra skills and be ready to tackle more advanced math topics.
