Parental Advisory I will tell students to be safe and to where personal protective equipment when it comes to classes where the student will learn to do something that requires it. Any class that I list in the weekly schedule that will have a safety briefing will have a star * next to it. During that class I will give a safety briefing that if in real life they need to perform the task being taught, they should take appropriate precautions. For example: When jumping a car battery, make sure you never touch the metal parts of the cables together, or you can get a minor shock.

I have been sort of a jack of all trades all my life. I was a firefighter for 10 years and was in the U.S. Coast Guard for 4 ½ years. I have dedicated my life to learning as many practical skills as I can, and teaching kids things they won't learn in school.
All of these skills that we will learn in this class are simple, and don’t require much knowledge or education. When it comes to automobiles, I was taught by excellent mechanics, when it comes to business & finance, I have a degree in finance & business, when it comes to cleaning, home economics, and basic personality traits, I had great parents and mentors.
