入学エッセイライターのワークショップ

In this small-group course, students will receive instruction on each stage of the writing process, engage in discussion and collaborative activities, and receive rubric feedback on each stage. This course will require work outside of class. Classes will be structured similarly to a writing workshop. Students also have the option to schedule additional 1:1 sessions with me. I highly recommend these 1:1 sessions if a student gets behind or is struggling. 

Whether students finish this course with a complete draft depends on their participation and effort level. It will NOT be written for them. I will serve as a guide as we work through the process. I will send updates on student progress and my recommendations throughout the course. 

If time allows, we will also discuss college searching, what to expect as a college student, and financial aid.
