This class focuses on discussing and analyzing the book “Ada Lace and the Impossible Mission.” (Guided Reading Level P) The majority of the reading will take place outside of class. Students will apply their reading skills while focusing on their reading comprehension. Through class discussions we will practice making predictions, making connections, questioning, making inferences, summarizing, and synthesizing. Students will socialize and have the opportunity to share their own opinions of the text. Students will learn about character traits, character development, and how the characters change over time.
Education- Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction Certification- Elementary School, Spanish K-12, ESOL K-12 Experience- 9 years as a public school teacher, including as a 3rd and 4th Grade teacher. Three years as a stay-at-home parent to two young children.
